Blackberry 10 Installation (Q10, Z10 or Z30)

1.  Since the Blackberry 10 OS is able to very effectively install and run Android apps, you will be installing the Android FirstClass client. The frist step in the process is to install the:


NOTE: You must have a google account setup first.

2.  Launch the 1Mobile App and search for "FirstClass". Install the app and proceed to Configuration below.

NOTE: You must have enabled the setting on your Blackberry device to allow downloads from sources other than Blackberry App World in order to install the client. We advise turning that setting back off once you have installed the client as it is a security vulnerability to leave it enabled.

Configuration
Once downloaded go to your downloads folder on your device and install the app. If you get an error please see the notes below.


USERNAME: your regular CHATT username
PASSWORD: your regular CHATT password
NOTE: You cannot save the password

Support

As the board does not have any Android devices is circulation, all installations will be considered personal installations. As IT does not support personal devices, users of the Android client will have to rely on this documentation and peer-to-peer support via the CHATT conference. The original copy of this documentation is located in the Info Tech Knowledge Base and can be found by typing "Mobile" into the filter on your toolbar.
